🌳 Something Beautiful is Blooming on Main Street

Spring has a way of waking things up. Nowhere is that truer than in the heart of Downtown Broken Arrow. A portion of Central Park is undergoing a stunning transformation, and what’s unfolding is more than just a makeover—it’s the beginning of something truly special.

Welcome to The Gardens at Central Park.

A Fresh Chapter for a Beloved Space

Central Park has always been a favorite local gathering spot, but recent renovations are taking it to a whole new level. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of Keep Broken Arrow Beautiful, The City of Broken Arrow and Motown Outdoors and funded by the 2018 Bond Vote, the groundwork for a beautiful, welcoming destination is well underway.

Here’s what’s already been completed:

·       A brand-new pergola for shade and charm

·       Paved walkways that invite leisurely strolls

·       Underground electric lines, ready to power future lighting and water features

Now, as the weather warms up, the planting phase is in full swing. Trees are going in the ground, one by one—each one bringing us closer to the vision of a lush, peaceful garden in the center of town.

A Glimpse Into What’s Coming

There’s even more to look forward to in the weeks ahead. Once complete, the Gardens will offer:

🌸 Vibrant garden areas — each with its own unique layout and character: Pollinator/Butterfly, Prairie, Sensory, Fragrance & Herb
🪑 Comfortable benches — perfect for resting, reading, or people-watching
📍 A welcoming plaza entrance — designed for easy access and a great first impression
🌿 Thoughtful signage — so visitors can explore at their own pace

With additional planting scheduled through early May, the timing couldn’t be better to celebrate spring in full bloom.

“We’re excited to create a space that invites both reflection and connection,” says the team at Motown Outdoors. “It’s not just a park upgrade—it’s a community investment.”

Grand Opening Coming Soon

Once the finishing touches are complete, the city will host a grand opening celebration to welcome everyone to the new Gardens. It’ll be a day of joy, community, and fresh beginnings—just like the park itself.

Stay tuned for updates on the event and sneak peeks as the garden takes shape. Whether you’re a regular park-goer or a first-time visitor, this will be a destination worth discovering.

The Gardens at Central Park is more than a renovation—it’s a reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to grow something beautiful.

We can’t wait to welcome you.
