A local historian, Jan has strong roots in our community as one of the founding members of Broken Arrow Alumni Association, and having served with the founders of the Broken Arrow Historical Society. She was on the board of directors when The Museum Broken Arrow was planned and built. Being a strong advocate of our armed forces, Jan and especially her husband Kenny often volunteered for the Oklahoma Military History Center. She is an established author with articles in BA Magazine plus 2 amazing books about the top 100 people who established and built Broken Arrow into what it has become today: Meet the Broken Arrow Centennials: 100 Legacy Makers (1902-2002).
